Rainbow colored paint with text reading »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ Celebrating Pride montht: Performance, culture and history

Drag is performance art with exaggerated versions of masculinity or femininity, meant as an outlet for creative gender- and self-expression using clothes, jewelry, makeup, music, dialogue and more.

Event activities will include a presentation on the culture and history of drag, followed by several performances and Q&A sessions between talented drag artists and the community, as well as dialogue on the importance of LGBTQ+ resources, Unison Awareness and Safe Space Initiatives.

Held in collaboration with Prism, Unison, PFLAG and Great Lakes Bay Pride, this vibrant event is an opportunity to celebrate LGBTQ+ inclusion and honor the spirit of Pride Month through expressions of joy, support of diversity and community togetherness.

Join us for an evening of celebration and connection at »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Main Campus Thursday, June 19 from 6 – 8pm in the Lecture Theater (G160). This is free and open to the public, ages 18+.
