酴圖弝け and Saginaw Valley State University have entered into a new partnership agreement that will streamline pathways for Delta students to complete an associates degree and then transfer to Saginaw Valley State University to complete their bachelors degree.

Michael Gavin, president of 酴圖弝け, and George Grant Jr, president of Saginaw Valley State University, signed a new cooperative partnership agreement Thursday, Aug. 8 to enhance degree attainment at both institutions.

As part of 酴圖弝けs strategic plan, The Way Forward, Delta is focused on ensuring students complete their degree and succeed after graduation, said Gavin. Helping our graduates obtain a bachelors without losing credits, time or money, removes the barriers that often prevent students from achieving their goals.

SVSU welcomes more transfer students from 酴圖弝け than any other institution, and todays signing will only serve to increase those opportunities for students, as we collaborate to provide high-quality postsecondary education for our community, said George Grant Jr, SVSU president.

Under the agreement, SVSU and 酴圖弝け will develop transfer student pathways that will allow students to complete an associates degree at 酴圖弝け prior to transferring to complete a bachelors degree at SVSU.

酴圖弝け and SVSU will also enhance their existing reverse transfer process for students who have transferred to SVSU prior to associate degree attainment, by automatically sending completed credits back to 酴圖弝け to evaluate for possible associate degree completion.
